Virginia's Coastal area is an ideal place to spend your leisure time… either a weekend , a week or a month. So much to do! If you like the beach filled with people there is Virginia Beach, a family destination and one of America's safest cities.

History? In the historic triangle you can visit Williamsburg (colonial America comes alive), Jamestown, (the first permanent European settlement in America) and the Yorktown battlefield where America secured its independence. A day at Busch Gardens is a day well spent too.

If you prefer the urban atmosphere there are dozens of museums, events, and hundreds of restaurants and clubs in the cities of Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk and Chesapeake.

All of these are just several hours away by car from many of the major metropolitan areas on the East Coast.
