Gloucester County is located in Virginia's Middle Peninsula in the Chesapeake Bay region. The county is bounded on the south by the York River, on the north by the Piankatank River and on the east by Mobjack Bay. With nearly 300 miles of shoreline, Gloucester County has a variety of water-related activities, marinas, boat ramps and a fishing pier.
